01 Independence of the desk
OrderFlow Metrics Editorial Desk is an independent editorial unit. It is not the maker of the ATAS platform, it is not connected to the ATAS platform, and it is not connected to OrderFlow Trading. No page on this site is written on behalf of a vendor, no page is reviewed by a vendor before publication, and no vendor has any say over what is written here.
The desk receives no funds from any platform maker, reseller or data provider. It holds no interest in the commercial success of any charting tool, and it names tools only because naming them is necessary to describe a configuration. Where a claim cannot be supported, it is left out rather than softened.
02 Scope of the material
The pages are educational documentation of data visualisation. They explain how settings shape the way volume and time-and-sales figures are drawn and grouped inside a charting workspace. They describe anatomy and reasoning; they do not describe outcomes.
What the page covers
- Layout and aggregation choices
- Column and grouping definitions
- Workspace and profile organisation
- Terminology and reading order
What the page does not cover
- How to trade or when to act
- Expected results of any kind
- Distribution of any software
- Financial or intermediary services
Boundary Nothing on this site transfers files, hosts packages or points to a place where a charting tool can be obtained. The desk documents settings; it does not supply programs.
03 No advice and no warranty
No sentence on this site is advice. The pages do not recommend a course of action, do not assess the suitability of any approach for any person, and do not consider a reader's circumstances. A reader who needs guidance on their own situation should consult a qualified professional who can see the whole picture.
The material is supplied as it stands. There is no warranty that it is complete, current or free of error, and no warranty that a described setting behaves the same way in a different build of a charting tool. Menu labels move between releases, feeds differ between providers, and a configuration that reads well on paper may need adjustment in practice.
04 Tools named in passing
Where the text names a platform or a product, it does so to describe a setting that exists in that software. Such a name is used descriptively and does not imply any partnership, endorsement, sponsorship or approval in either direction. No logo, icon or screen image from any vendor is reproduced on these pages.
All names remain the property of their owners. Should an owner object to the way a name is used, a message to the address below will be answered, and the reference will be revised or withdrawn while the matter is considered.
05 How errors are corrected
The desk prefers a corrected page to a defended one. When a fault is found, the following order is followed.
- A report is logged with the date it arrived and the page it concerns.
- The claim is checked against the desk's own notes and against the tool's published behaviour.
- A correction is drafted and the page revision date is advanced.
- The correction is entered in the public log kept on the editorial policy page.
- The reporter is told of the outcome if a return address was given.
06 Contact and acceptance
Faults, objections and questions may be sent to [email protected], raised by telephone on +1 (503) 555-0142, or posted to 1840 Wexford Avenue, Suite 12, Portland, OR 97205, United States. Reading a page of this site means the reader accepts the limits set out above. Last reviewed: 12 October 2026.
